Hey Vince! Sadly games would probably be put on Acorn Arcade, so wouldn't push anything down the TIB page :) |

Oh yeah, AcornArcade, right, good point.
Okay, so what if I told you I was about to mount a hostile take over bid (balaclavas and all) of Pace, with the intention of making them the 'new' Acorn?

That's a good one John :)
I see you still have desires of eating computers. Well my A4 is no longer available; I made a nice pie out of it. Sorry.

8.02pm sounds rather precise, don't you think? 'Around 8pm' would be better.
Anyway, only another 18 messages to go and we've hit the 100 - don't post any new articles yet Rich!

Reading these threads makes me wonder whether any sense is being made by anyone in this community. Perhaps we shouldn't have these forums. Such a waste of download time and storage space ;-) |

I have a feeling in won't matter where you are, so long as you are in the GMT time zone. Those in central Europe will have the experience an hour earlier. |

If you miss it now, you'll have to wait 110 years to see it again, unless you are American, in which case this is your last chance! |

We should have these forums as they're in general a lot more friendly and informal and there's less pomposity and animosity than in certian newsgoups or mialing lists I could mention.
Part of this (friendliness) is down to Richard Goodwins style of writing. Part is down to the absence of certain people in my opinion. |

Unless Richard or someone else posts something about it, you may find 20:02 passes without you being aware of its significance. Come 20:03 it will all be over! |

Unfortunately you've just missed out on another. At 16:55:01 the Unix timestamp would also have been a palindromic number: 1014224101.
Just incase you cared. |

I remember New Year's Day in 1961 when someone on TV wrote down the year and then turned it upside-down. That won't happen again for a while either. |
